Trails & Outdoor Features at Wooden Cross

Nestled on a peaceful seven-acre forested property, Wooden Cross offers more than just a place of worship — it’s a natural sanctuary open to all who seek quiet reflection, community connection, and outdoor fellowship.

Explore Our Nature Trails

Winding through towering trees and native landscaping, our easy-to-walk trails invite you to pause, reflect, and enjoy God’s creation.

Whether you’re here for a moment of solitude or a group gathering, the trails offer a refreshing retreat just steps from the sanctuary.

Prayer Labyrinth

Created in 2016, the prayer labyrinth at Wooden Cross offers a peaceful, reflective walking path for prayer and meditation. Unlike a maze, the labyrinth has a single, winding path that leads to the center and back out again, inviting walkers to slow down, release distractions, and spend time in quiet reflection. Open to individuals and groups, the labyrinth is part of the worldwide network of sacred paths and is listed on the World Labyrinth Locator. All are welcome to walk and reflect at their own pace.

Outdoor Gathering Spaces

Our outdoor firepit and playground are beloved features of the Wooden Cross property and were both completed as Eagle Scout projects, reflecting a spirit of service and community care. The firepit provides a welcoming place for gatherings, reflection, and conversation, while the playground offers a safe and joyful space for children and families to play. Together, these outdoor spaces are used by church groups, scouts, and community organizations, making the grounds a place where all ages can connect, relax, and feel at home.
